Firebox launches its health and fitness gadgets range

If you want more evidence that the health and fitness gadgets market is exploding in the UK (and the US too) check out this news from Firebox. The esteemed gadgets retailer has this week launched a new fitness section fuelled by growing demand for health and wellness gadgets. There are some new products but many of the devices it has have already been featured on this website.

Ben Redhead, who is the Sports & Outdoors Buyer at Firebox, says the company has developed this new range to inspire consumers to get active, try out the latest fitness trends and, most importantly, have some fun with their regimes.

“The end of 2011 saw an influx of consumer interest for alternate types of fitness and, to accommodate the UK’s new trends, our range grew 4-fold” says Ben Redhead. “On the back of 2011’s success stories we are expecting bootcamps, new variations of Yoga and dynamic dance classes to continue to grow in 2012 and we also expect technology to take centre stage; providing tips, motivation and community support to consumers looking for encouragement and a flexible regime.”
