Win! A Timex Health Tracker watch to help you keep fit and healthy
A new year usually starts with great intentions of watching your calories, changing to healthier diet and exercising more. Yet for many those resolutions are shelved by the time February comes around as you just didn’t have the right tools to keep you motivated. This is where the Timex Health Tracker comes into the picture.
Aimed at women with hectic lifestyles the Timex Health Tracker has a built-in walk sensor that automatically records distance, steps taken and calories burned. It also lets you record calories consumed in a diet diary and allows you to create custom fitness goals and track your progress to keep motivated. And as it sits on your wrist, you can easily review your stats whenever and wherever with just a few clicks!
We’ve been testing the Health Tracker for a week and have found it does really help with motivation. Working as a little nudge each time we look at our wrist, being able to easily record calories and check how many steps we’ve taken at any time is definitely a bonus. Now there is no need to remember to bring that notebook or recall what you’ve eaten throughout the day when you sit down in the evening to log it online.
The Health Tracker is available in three colours; purple, grey and black for £59.99 from www.timex.co.uk/wellness.

I would use this to help me get fitter, since retiring have put on lots of weight.
So since boxing day have started walking, trying to go further and faster, even managing to do little spurts of running.
I like to walk up the wrekin cos the view at the top are magnificent
id love this because i need to get fit for my health and kids, 🙂
I would love to walk on any golden sand beach in the sun – because I just hate this cold weather!
I LIKE TO WALK ALONG THE RIVER AT HORNCASTLE.There’s always some new wildlife to see and it keeps me fit.
I like to walk along the steep cliffs of the North coast of Jersey. The views of Guernsey, Sark & Herm are amazing even on a cloudy day. The walk goes up-and-down-and-down-and-up so many times its a bit like a roller-coaster but one that keeps you fit! Its a walk that is best done with a group of friends so that you all arrive at the pub at the end (hopefully minus too many blisters!) and can sink a pint of Jersey cider to take away the aching knee joints. This watch would be brilliant!
Just where is the facebook like link ?
I like to walk around the Tarn at Yeadon. I take my dogs, two Westies and an Akita (yes I know what a mix ). It is beautiful there, the Tarn is home to a variety of water fowl, as well as the usual ever hungry Ducks, there are Swans, Geese and Moorhens etc.In a little copse, off to the side of the lake we always find evidence of rabbit tracks, which my dogs love to snuffle around at. We often also see squirrels scampering around in the trees. Juxtapositioned with nature in all her glory though, is the fact that the Leeds/Bradford airport is just over the hill. All of a sudden a huge aircraft will appear right overhead, on take-off from a nearby runway. Breathtaking.
i love walking with my 8 year old especially after our tea, we love where we live and we chat and catch up on the day, it sets us up for the night, i,m a little overweight and it helps with that too, once you start you cant stop, everyone should do it
I love walking the faster the better! My favourite walking spots are Hyde Park and Battersea Park. Living in the city its hard finding nice local places to take young children. But I’m moving to Hertfordshire soon, where life is at a slower pace, I hope to find new pretty places to explore.
Oops should have said where I like to walk,I,m fortunate to live near a country park.that leads on to the beach.it’s huge so every day I can take a different route, amazing .I count myself a very lucky person.
I am booked in to GI Jane Boot Camp in April. I must hike for 10 miles?? Honestly I dont even drive for 10 miles?? I need help to get fit and train for next 4 months. I probably have to dive in swamps, is the Timex Health Tracker waterproof?
