Hoolio looks to become the Netflix of fitness with its online streaming platform

If you don’t feel comfortable venturing into your local gym or be seen running the roads whilst trying to get that summer body ready, then new fitness platform Hoolio is just what you need.

The new streaming service collates a wide range of fitness videos which can be found online alongside its own video content allowing users to participate in workouts of their choice from the comfort of their home. Users can filter the type of workout they would like to take part in based on their fitness levels, mood and session time.Hoolio

One thing that makes Hoolio so unique is the social aspect that allows users to workout with their friends without being in the same building – imagine a Skype call but instead of chatting you’re working out. Hoolio believes that training as part of a team helps to build a competitive spirit amongst users and therefore pushes them harder resulting in better health.

The service also integrates with fitness wearable’s such as the Apple Watch so users can live monitor their fitness metrics such as heart rate and calories burned via their TV or computer screen.

Hoolio is currently only available in the UK and can be accessed through web browsers and a variety of TV streaming devices including Apple TV. They have a free version as well as a premium package which unlocks exclusive videos created by celebrity trainer Svava Sigbertsdottir. Hoolio is set to roll out globally by the end of 2016.
