One of the big issues with baby monitors is that they have a base in one room, whereas you are mobile flitting from one room to another. Sure you can take the monitor with you, but how many times have you left it in one room and forgotten about it?
Hoping to solve this problem is the Baby Watch – which is being billed as the first ever wearable baby monitor. The video monitor is built into a screen on a watch-like device that you put on your wrist – or you have have it as a clip, necklace or an old school style monitor on a stand.
It has plenty of features too including water resistance, night vision and a 12-hour battery life. It also has a range of 200 feet.
The company also has a Wi-Fi baby monitor due which will stream video of your child to web connected TVs, mobiles, tablets etc.
There’s more information on both modeles here.
